Service availability
Ody Health operates as a telehealth platform connecting patients with independent licensed providers, pharmacies, and laboratories across the United States. Ody Health is available to patients in all 50 states.
Ody Health partners with Ola Digital Health, a licensed provider network operating in all 50 states, and with independent pharmacies and laboratories that serve patients nationwide.
State-specific regulations
While Ody Health operates nationwide, certain services and medications may be subject to state-specific regulations. For example, the availability of testosterone replacement therapy (“TRT”) varies by state due to state-specific regulations regarding Schedule III controlled substances.
Patients will learn whether a requested service or medication is available in their state during the intake process, as part of clinical evaluation by an independent licensed provider. The provider determines, in the provider’s clinical judgment, whether any service, medication, or treatment is appropriate and available under applicable state law.
Clinical eligibility and provider determination
Even if a service or medication is available in a patient’s state, an independent licensed provider must determine whether the service or medication is clinically appropriate for that patient based on the patient’s medical history, current health status, contraindications, and other clinical factors.
Completing an intake form, purchasing a subscription, or requesting a protocol does not guarantee that a provider will determine you are eligible for any particular service, medication, or treatment. If a provider determines that a requested service is not available in your state or is not clinically appropriate for you, the provider will communicate this determination and discuss alternative options if available.
Pharmacy and medication fulfillment
If a provider issues a prescription, the prescription is sent to an independent pharmacy for dispensing. Medication availability, formulation, concentration, and fulfillment are determined by the pharmacy based on the prescription, state law, pharmacy inventory, and the patient’s location.
If a medication is not available at the pharmacy, the patient will be notified by the pharmacy during the fulfillment process. The pharmacy may suggest alternative medications or formulations if available.
Laboratory testing availability
Laboratory testing may be ordered by an independent licensed provider if determined appropriate. Laboratory test availability varies by location, laboratory vendor, state regulations, and patient eligibility.
If a laboratory test is not available in a patient’s location, the provider and patient will be notified, and alternative testing options will be discussed if available.
Questions about service availability
If you have questions about whether a specific service, medication, or treatment may be available in your state, the best way to find out is to complete the intake process. An independent licensed provider will review your information and determine what services are available and appropriate for you.
